The Odd Couple by Neil Simon

Can two mismatched buddies live together and help each other through difficult times? What happens when the sisterhood is stretched to the limits? Can you stop from laughing? This is Neil Simon’s amazing play The Odd Couple “indigenized.” Another production re-envisioned through the lens of N.O.T.A.

Coming Summer 2024

Romeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare

What does Shakespeare look like when “Indigenized?” Bringing a 30 person production to life with Traditional dancing, Tribal warfare and a little love is what NOTA is good at. Along with new songs written specifically for this productions by award winning drum groups, choreography designed by award winning dancers makes this production a must see for all audiences. This will be our inaugural touring production we are bringing to various cities around the United States.

Untitled Ho-Chunk Project by NOTA

As producers N.O.T.A. works on and commissions projects from various artists. One of our founding members is from the Ho-Chunk (Winnebago) and was excited to look at our original production projects as a means to tell a compelling story about his people. This project incorporates music, dance, and storytelling to showcase amazing traditions not known by many outside of the Ho-Chunk people. Be prepared to be amazed by this one-of-a-kind experience.
