What Makes our After School programs different?

The After School programs are workshops designed that build off each other week after week that end with a cumulative project (i.e., public performance, public reading, movie premier, etc.).

Each program’s lesson plan can be adapted to fit a weekly schedule as small as four weeks to as large as 16 weeks (10 weeks being the average).

These workshops provide professional instruction to youth in artistic fields with the idea of showcasing how the performance arts can be a viable profession or hobby.

Each workshop is taught as a 90-minute lesson providing both skills and practice materials to work on between lessons.

An After School program example
For Example:
A community has two groups of students wanting to participate in after school activities.

One group is 4th to 6th graders while the other group are juniors in high school.

They want to build the confidence of the 4th – 6th graders so they choose the Acting 101: Indigenized Performance course for four weeks to see how the kids respond.

For the juniors in high school, they want to run a Getting Started with Podcasting (not shown) course for eight weeks.

There are 10 students in the acting group, and 5 students in the podcasting group.

They want to run the acting program on Friday when the students have early release; they choose Thursday afternoon for the podcasting class when the students get done with classes.

Final Pricing:
(4 classes * 10 acting students) + (8 classes * 5 podcasting students) = 80 classes
80 classes * $99 (90-minute class pricing) = $7,920
15% discount (11-15 attendees) = -$1,188
10% discount (first time client) = -$792
total price = $5,940
